    It's very difficult to schedule same day appointments. I was turned away today for a sick visit and was referred to urgent care which charges twice as much. Keep in mind that I called at 8:15 a.m. and they were already booked solid for the day. My kids' Doctor is never available and the nurse practitioner usually takes over sick visits and infant follow-ups for immunizations, etc. I formerly worked as front office manager for a pediatrics practice in Tarzana, CA and I always planned ahead for sick child visits. I'm really disappointed with Burbank Pediatrics Affiliates.
