  So to start from the beginning, we made a reservation for a hotel room the weekend of an event we were going to go to- they offered free cancellation since we found a cheaper deal at another hotel closer to where we wanted to be.
  
  So, the cancellation did not go through, and instead of calling us the day of when we were already checked into another hotel to ask why we were a no show and to ask if we were not coming, they charges us for the weekend on top of some extra fees that we felt weren't deserved.
  
  We booked through a travel website and they were kind enough to refute this issue with us so we wouldn't be out an enter weekend- and it even said on their website they were supposed to" charge us for one night" of no show which is more acceptable. The travel website customer service also made it sound like this hotel was begin unnecessarily bad when it came to this kind of thing.
  
  We made a mistake not making sure we didn't cancel our reservation all the way- but it was too steep to charge for everything and anything they could think of because we didn't show up. I get it is an inconvenience for the hotel, but a little customer service can go a long way when you contact them to ask "hey, whats going on- you didn't show up?" They had our name and number and one phone call would have saved us a lot of run around phone calls and a lot of headaches.

  Nice big room but they're remodeling and were at the end of the hall and it was like a maze to walk around the boxes to get to our room this afternoon. The hallways were so dirty from the remodeling and they didn't clean it up. ..i mean large piles of dirt and paper. Tonight we couldn't get the pull out bed open and tried to call the front desk several times with no answer. It was 10:30pm but i would assume someone should be available all night. Too expensive, dirty, and poor customer service.
